I'm currently working on a big project that has sort of come in and out of my life periodically. I've finally decided the shape it will take form in: graphic novel. It is a story that I've been fiddling around with here and there, whittling and carving it until it represents it's true essence. The written portion is still very much in beta, in need of a great deal of tweaking so that it doesn't sound like a fifth-grader wrote it. I am hoping to post these in two-page increments so as to encourage myself to keep going. So, without further ado: the story.

This weekend I spent a day locked in a hotel just making art. This is what came of that.

Then, this morning I made a couple of small collages, all are 3 x 5".

After having done so many digital collages I decided it was high time to do a physical collage. Here are a couple of the experiments.

And I worked on some ink and white gouache illustrations.
